So this game has been known to be "unoptimized" as people call it. Now thats not completely untrue the same way someone telling you a prius is unoptimized as a racing car. No duh. But there are things you can do to make it work much better contrary to popular opinion. Pcs are alot like cars in the aspect of people like to think they know alot about them but in reality a mechanic will know alot more.
There is ALOT and I mean alot of false info on this sub by the same frequent people who also make new accounts. Gr3y Ghost, and Ranger1803 come to mind. They will tell you false info then block anyone who says otherwise immediately. They just want to feel like they are doing something helpful but they arent.
Anyways Ill give a few tips and people can ask about stuff if you need help. I get around 160 frames every map and have been working on computers for quite some time now. 0 issues with lighthouse on 16gb systems and other things among the same realm. I have everything overclocked and in the range of 45-70 degrees max on a bad day.
Some basic overlooked tips. Turn on xmp, Get good cooling on cpu and turn off C states/speedstep/speedshift and lock your cores. This highly reduces latency and hitching or "stuttering." Getting fast low latency ram is extremely helpful especially in cpu bound games like tarkov. 3800mhz ryzen, 4400mhz intel cl16. Its only 100$ for good ram so there isnt too much of an excuse to get worse stuff. Most of the other stuff that optimizers do is completely horsecrap and makes your stuff run worse. The best thing is to get good parts and overclock.
