Frosty Fjords is both the best looking biome we have & the worst biome we have.

The new winter venture zone is so janky but at the same time, I absolutely love it.

On one hand it looks fantastic, I love the winter theme because I was eternally disappointed that our previous "winter" venture zone was just plankerton, I appreciate that they're making use of the newer BR assets to give us something we've never had in STW all while making it feel like Save the World with military excavations of crashed alien ships, underground ruins, fishing villages, etc.

Then on the other hand, you've got objectives spawning in places that the husks can't reach, terrain being off-center so you can't build around it leaving gaps for the husks to walk clean past, invisible blockers that keep you from building for 3-6 tiles around the objective, causing you to make some horrific monstrosity trying to cover it, if you even can… or my favorite, uneven terrain that you can't deploy your abilities on. Nothing is more fun than having husks breaking into the base and you can't find anywhere to place your shock tower at all. Of course there are the classics too, like having the radar tower intersect with terrain rendering it impossible to complete.

The zones look fantastic, but the use of irregularly shaped pieces or rock and ice, just make it impossible for STW's old school building system to work properly. I like that they're trying to make more organic looking, natural terrain but its not compatible with what we have to work with in STW. We need to either update the build system so it can intersect our structures with the terrain and remove all the limitations on where you can build, or take this new zone back to the drawing board and make it more blocky and compatible like the old STW biomes are.
