Greetings commanders. I played ED quite a lot back in 2014-2017, first in pancake mode then later exclusively in VR. I have Horizons Odyssey and are almost double Elite (trade and exploration). I really loved the game but got into DCS and MSFS 2020 instead.
I have been somewhat following the development of ED and Frontiers struggles, so…
What do you you; fellow commanders suggest, is it worth getting back in the game or has ED degraded?
What would you suggest doing in game for a "new old timer" like myself?
What is holding me back is two things:
- The risk of being disappointed and not remembering ED like the awesome game I do now.
- (And this is silly, I know) mapping and re learning all bottons on my new Virpil HOTAS.
Your thoughts is much appreciated.
Edit: Apparently I suffer from early dementia, I have bought Odyssey, must have been on sale or something, but the question still stands, do I even launch it in VR, is there other things than just space legs?
