Herald questions toward higher rank players

Hello higher rank folks, I used to be an ex guardian 2 player in SEA server.
Losing streaks made me herald 4 and I have no more role queues.

I only know how to play dawnbreaker as my dawnbreaker(pos 1 to 3 possible) is now platinum tier with 52% winrate.

I have several questions in which i would like to ask to higher rank folks.
1. Is it still possible for me to use dawnbreaker to reach my old rank? Guardian 2
2. Is it still worth to aim for mmr or ranks as I have witnessed that in turbo there's a player who's a crusader support.
3. Does dawnbreaker keeps on being banned on higher ranks starting from guardian 3/4 to immortal?
(One of my dota 2 friend[his other account was archon] said to me that they just let dawnbreaker be there and ban for imba heroes like grimstroke)
4. Is there any alternatives to dawnbreaker in terms of mobility?

I do still want to play in ranked match with my dawnbreaker .. but I don't think it's possible or feasible. There's a 20-40% chance that people will ban my hero. I have now reached to a point in which .. i don't think banning heroes .. will decide an outcome of a match. In matches that my dawnbreaker was not banned, the requirement on soft support is harsh, they need to know how to initiate a fight as dawnbreaker is the only offlane hero which is not initiator.

Any higher rank folks mind answering my questions?
