He’s Gone

My precious boar, Sir Piggy, is gone.

I was returning with Iron scraps from my docks, quite far away from my base, when suddenly Sir Piggy ran by me. He ran into the woods and through many attempts to push him back home, we were ambushed by a shaman who poisoned him and he instantly died.

He was my first 2 star boar that I found and lured all the way home. I defended him from troll invasions and fed him every day and somehow he was out running around in the woods, somehow escaping his sturdy pen and an entire fortified base.

I am devastated. I have sobbed for a few hours now and made him a memorial sign. Not even sure if I have the heart to find a new boar.

It isn't fair and I dont know what happened and I simply cannot get over it or wrap my mind around it. Honestly, took a huge gut punch from this and lost a lot of my love for the game, as getting him took hours and I spent hours interacting with him.

P.s. I'm fairly new to the game and don't usually play games where my animals just DIE…I guess maybe I should have expected this because I dont play with mods that maybe could've protected him ?? But this feels entirely out of my control …im devastated

I know it a pixel animal but I don't care, I love animals lol
