Messing around with my mouse key binds. Looked at some recommendations from other players and settled on this.
Inspect weapon & check chamber for mouse 3 (allowing me to clear malfunctions mid firefight while still being able to move)
Push to talk as mouse 4 (so I can talk while on the move. I don't like having push to talk as a keyboard bind in any of the games I play, I feel too vulnerable needing to stand still to talk).
Mouse wheel down for changing scope magnifications. It felt a little awkward for me using alt + right mouse button and I wanted to be able to change magnifications quicker and more easily.
That means I kicked free look button off my mouse. Right now I have it on a random key. I didn't want to take it off my mouse but I feel that the other buttons are more important. I didn't use free look often but I liked using it because it allowed you to look around without turning your players body, which makes a ton of noise even at the slightest movement.
Do any of you even use the free look function when playing? Do you find it more useful than one might think?
