I'm not exactly green, every season I get to pro rank, have an overall good winrate and yet this question completely eludes me.
I suspect it's a matchup thing; normally most decks will have favourable or unfavourable matchups, but generally I've been under the impression that with most decks you can happen to win most other decks, even unfavourable ones, if you play right and get a bit lucky.
Against Reavers I must consistently be having just about 10% winrate, and the few wins I happen to get, seem to be against totally awful players who have crutched their way up to a rank way above their paygrade by playing specifically Reavers.
I've gone through Sihil, constant stream of Enslave 6 (seemed like 70% of players played this back in December), all kinds of oppressive control decks or hard-to-counter memedecks and I've always had a positive outlook on the game, always tried to learn and do better next time, I've enjoyed the losses, but with Reavers it's gotten to the point where once I get a game against them, I lose, and I'm so angry I'm sweating, seething, wishing in my mind grievous harm to the other player.
Currently at season-reset Rank 3 and every day I completely break my mental against Reavers. I just can't play anything right after I've been buttfucked by them. The problem is I consider myself a good player, but I'm not even close with them. Not even in the same ballpark of points. Not even a chance. I lose, but unlike with other decks, against Reavers I can't even reflect on what I could've done better, because I often dealt my hand perfectly and still got fucked in the ass.
Honestly at this point I'd be willing to just play a deck constantly that hardcounters this ridiculous build. I find Reavers to be worse than anything – ever – in beta, homecoming, Sihil, anything that CDPR ever put out.
