You telling me that he could peek the angle, and align his sights FASTER than me, already holding the angle on the corner?
Yeah, no
Call me when you do some MOUT, and see how that turns out for you
A situation like that, with a prepared defender holding an angle, his ONLY thought should have been
"holy shit, i almost caught one. Not going through here" (unless using a grenade, or proper entry tactics)
We really need a "free-aim" mechanic to slow down target acquisition
I play Tarkov, for the same reason a pilot plays a flight simulator
Or a professional racer plays a racing sim
To take real-world knowledge and skills and apply them in a video game, because our professions make it hard to do the real thing in the real world
Tarkov is one of the few games that promises to deliver something akin to a true combat simulator with ballistics, health, armor, etc
But its unfinished implementation is just such a frustrating mess
Real world considerations simply FAIL far too often
Real world tactics are not the dominant factor
So in its goal of a "sim", the game simply fails
Im sure id have a lot more fun if i enjoyed the game as a "game" over a sim
But then, the whole point of Tarkov falls mute, and id end up rather just playing Apex, or another "game"
Whats the point of real world guns, equipment, etc
If the use and implementation is simply wrong?
