I would like to ask that anyone reading this post please bear with me. I genuinely regret spending IRL money in-game, because of 3 reasons that I would like to share with the community.
- You don't get gear fear because it took nothing to earn it. I don't feel nervous and I feel like I've cheated other players playing the game legit out of their items. I even told myself that I started late in the wipe, maybe I should spend money on the game just give me an edge. My survival rate really means nothing because I cheapened the experience of the game.
- You've encouraged negative behavior and made more room for people who cheat for profit. Every purchase made will allow for more people to become cheaters for profit, and BSG has a hard enough time managing what is most important because of different complexities in the game development process. If you really want the best for EFT you won't purchase roubles at all. Any type of IRL cash spent in the game will encourage cheating, even from sherpas.
- It's not making you better at the game. Instead, it gives you more firepower and better armor than most other people playing the game. I have won fights simply because of the ammo in my gun.
I am making this post to show what happens when you realize you've become apart of the problem in the game. I really don't want to post this, but I feel a duty to give my perspective on this issue. I really want to admonish anyone who has thought about it to give it more thought before you buy anything from players who don't value this game. I could go on about this issue but I feel my point has been made, and those who will choose to agree with me will further spread the message I have decided to share. Thanks for listening to a rouble cheater.
P.S. I have decided to not play for the rest of the wipe, as I don't want to continue using unearned gear and I don't want to start from scratch.
