I'm trying to find Arsenic, and having the toughest time possible.
I was on one particular planet that a lot of people recommend, Upsilon phoenicis, and could not find *ANY* arsenic. Found lots of nodes… but none of them had arsenic.
Traveled to another planet… and at first landfall, found a node… shot it, found arsenic and a lot of other minerals explode from it. Problem was, when I tried to scoop all the minerals…. after having scooped all of them… aresenic did *NOT* show up in my inventory. The Arsenic material must have just disappeared or gotten lost somehow. JUST EFFING GREAT!
Then I had to go take care of some personal business, so quickly logged out. When I logged back in later in teh day,… all the material signals were gone. No more nodes. WTF!?
Went Orbital Cruise, re-entered same planet… and landed in an area where there were plenty of signals showing on the signal scanner… but following them felt like following after a ghost's trail. I could not find *ANY* targetable nodes/rocks.
If you are on a surface, that has nodes… and log out…. everything seems to disappear on the planet. Going back into Orbit/de-orbiting elsewhere on the planet seems to only cause the signals to spawn,… but now the resource nodes themselves.
Am I doing something wrong here? IS this a known issue of resources "Despawning" after resuming a session while on planet? What do I have to do? Hyperspace away to another system, then travel back?
