Kunkka used to be one of my favourite heroes.
Valve, have mercy on those of us who didn't grind the style unlock because we thought blue looked better.
My disappointment was immeasurable when I realised the green leviathan whaleblade (that came out one year later) looked absolutely stunning paired with the green kunkka shark immortal shoulders, but looks like complete ass when paired with the default blue style kunkka shoulders.
Every game of kunkka after that was a painful reminder of my failure to unlock kunkka's second style. After some time, I couldn't stand playing kunkka anymore.
We didn't have the foresight to know that green would be the colour of his best looking sword that came out the following year.
Also the quest was kinda grindey and annoying for support kunkka players to be honest, it wasn't that easy to just do it within the span of the battle pass for more casual players (especially since kunkka rose in popularity due to his quest and often wasn't available to be picked).
