This prewipe has been one of the better for the philosophy of tarkov than previous.
-leveling speed increased, allows for people to reach end game leveling without much time but you still have to go into raid to do so. Many players never know what those high levels feel like and it may lead them to level a particular skill more next wipe.
-hide out is cheap to upgrade, early enough into prewipe that you could craft plenty of 7.62 BP or propital or run a couple scave cases, again for the people who don't get maxed out hideout on a typical wipe. Now they will see where they should focus on hideout.
-dog tags worth a lot. If you kill a single person, you have enough cash for any kit from the traders. Money is no longer a problem, getting rid of gear fear and rewarding pvp at end game.
-melee weapons, allows for people who need cash to easily hunt for dogtags while giving a lot of folks a chance to achieve. Max or next level traders with a funny and challenging task.
-stims, helps people who don't use stims (most average players) use them without negative effects. Showing them a part fit he game they may not have seen before, and provided a bunch of barter for those stims, they're like unlocking perks!
-toz shells, goof factor, levels playing field for many people who again don't have traders unlocked or haven't played much. And makes for a fun god gun.
-flea market fees, should get everyone to start selling their stash as they have no tax to pay, pure profit. Again, pushing people to use their stash!
-loot pools-brings pvp to specific hot spots. Everything about prewipe leads to pvp and using your gear! Now each map has specific pvp hot spots to run that may not have been typical throughout the wipe. They also added the goons and Santa so the ai is ramping up
All of these events have been to get the PLAYER to use their gear and see what end game looks like in an rpg context. I love it and not palying as much this wipe, it allowed me to see end game stats that I wouldn't have seen otherwise.
