Imagine if Fdevs did this one thing….

Add buildable bases on any landable planets.

This would add sooo much to the game and so much you could do with it!

Imagine, if you could, that it would take, let's say at least several thousand tons to build a base.

Imagine you could take a miner out in the void and start building a base, using the rings of nearby planet to build it. You already have a refinery in your ship. Maybe make another mod that is for manufacturing. It would sort of work like synthesizing, and you get a small building to turn commodities into. For example, it would take, let's say 300 Iron to synthesize a main building.

But that it… you have one small building to turn things into.

Now you can go to nearby rings to gather silver, gold, etc to expand your base.

But you still have no power, food, etc.

Then you would need several trip back to bubble to get commodities, food, water, chemicals, computer stuff etc… and let's say it would cost billions at least least.

But it would take massive efforts to build out in the void. Several trips, fleet carriers.

Maybe you already have billions and could "hire" free lancers to supply your buildings?

Then you could become a trade post! Using you fleet carrier to ferry goods or even a cutter or T-9!

Now enter player Pirate attacking trading ships worth millions! Then those convoy hire escorts!

Obviously there are small details to flush out but over all it seems like it would make the galaxy less empty.

In short, let us colonize the galaxy!
