I'm not a fan of the current iteration of Meepo's scepter effect.
I think it needs some more as it feels a bit obtuse and unintuitive to use.
Reasons for me are as follows:
1) When mega meepo forms, the stack order depends on how close they were when megameepo form is activated – meaning they're effectively scrambled. Fling always uses the last one in the stack, which can very depending on which meepo's were closer as megameepo is being assembled. This means the hotkey / control group to select the thrown meepo (or teleport your main stack to the flung meepo as a gapcloser) inconsistent.
2) The fact that they all cast net / poof when meepo prime uses net ends up feeling like a nerf. Net doesn't do damage and the root doesn't stack, its much better if they could be cast independently, so you could still select the individual meepo you'd like to net or poof with. Id much rather tab through all the clones to channel poof or individual nets while being able to move with meepo prime, which is more consistent with his regular gameplay.
2) The form can only be cancelled and fling can only be used from meepo prime, which is annoying when using tab to cycle through your units. I feel like it should be cancellable from any selected meepo (other than tossed ones, I guess)
3) Its a quintessential item due to the power of the save, but the mega meepo form afterwards is more of a nerf to the hero than a buff. The form has a lot of HP but cant really stick on to anybody to deal damage, so I end up getting kited immediately after using it.
Due to some of these interactions the mega form is the only one that seems to require me to box select them in order to have consistent functionality, which can be a crucial problem in teamfights – for example if you accidentally alt cast poof and they all channel poof in place rather than onto a meepo trying to catch up to his target.
I'm not really a fan of the context sensitive alt cast functionality nor the scepter in general because it just feel clunky, and at the same time i feel forced to use it because its just that broken as a save. I would much rather have his old scepter which was just an additional meepo clone in place of the talent, and maybe have the scepter transfer debuff immunity between the clones (so prime can purchase bkb and have it be usable across all clones). The current iteration interrupts the gameplay flow of the hero and just doesnt feel good from a gameplay nor balance perspective.
