Seriously, the short-ass days are killing my love of the game. I am driving myself crazy trying to be efficient with the 10 minutes of light that I have. The cold debuff hits stamina regen too hard for me to tolerate it to stay outside longer. It really sucks because this game is so close to being amazing for me. For almost everything I don’t like about the game, there are about 10 things I love. But this kinda overshadows all of it.

Mods are usually a huge pain in the ass for me to install on my own computer, having to talk all my friends through installing it makes my teeth itch. I’ve seen issues with players having desynchronized times, where it’s day for one player on the server, but night for another player. Not to mention they tend to break every patch.

I know I am complaining about something people constantly complain about, but I’m at least willing to take one for the team.

So if anyone at Iron Gate is reading this: Add the options for longer days and I will let you do anything you want to me baby! If you are into thicc gingers that look like meat-potatoes, I’m your guy! I even have most of my teeth. They say everyone has a price for their pride, and this one is mine. Gimme one night and I will make you wish all nights were longer too… if ya know what I’m sayin…

I know this is probably beating a dead horse at this point, but I really hope it can be easily implemented by the dev team. Having a simple option to play longer days of valheim with my friends would make me so happy.

Edit: Guys I’ve been playing on and off since 2021 . I know you can portal back to home to sleep, that’s super annoying to do every 10 minutes. I know there’s a cape that give you cold resistance, night just sucks until you get it.
