Is a specific carrier layout superior?

So i love the Drake class, its rather smooth, and simple, i guess im just feeling a little like something is missing out on the sides tho.

I really enjoy sitting on the command deck, seeing it jump, and i have a view of the deck of the carrier itself too.

but then i look at something like the Nautilus-class and i wonder which way are you looking out in that since the tower is now all the way front.

Or Fortune-class, the tower is more on the side, any view obstruction from the little things sticking up, or hard to see furtest side of landing pads?
or Victory-class, really kinda reminds me of a hammerhead corvette with its front's shape, but with that one im very sure view of a jump is obstructed by the front xD

So i just wanna see if changing layout seems any worth it, and for what reasons
