For the past week I've been working on grinding my Mercenary rank, and naturally have to migrate from system to system as wars start and finish. I've been using the galaxy map for this, but today I've noticed a couple things:
1) The system I was in last night, Ch'i Lingo, no longer has a war going on. According to the news in the terminals, the faction I fought for won and took control of the main starport and the system, but the station appears to still be under the control of the losing faction, and the system map reflects this. The galaxy map says the system is still in a state of war, yet there are no longer any active conflicts.
2) I found a nearby system that, according to the galaxy map, is experiencing a war. Yet when I get there, there is no war.
What the heck?! How are we supposed to do anything if we can't rely on the in-game map?
