I've seen about the AFK bounty bug, where NPC ships occasionally fire at you when scanning. Including the Security Ships.
But last night I got a bounty for re-scanning a Fed Security ship with my KWS. I know 100% for a fact I did not fire at the ship. Since my KWS is on Trigger 1 and trigger 2 of that fire group is my Cell bank and Heat sink. There isn't a possibility I fired on them since no weapons are on that fire group. And this is something I've done many times in the past. It's an RP thing for me, you scan me, I'll scan you deeper. As soon as I did it I got a bounty, not a simple fine. Honestly it wasn't a huge deal since the closest detention ship was only two jumps from where I was. And it only cost me 200cr. But I have also been sent to jail over 400Ly away for the same amount of credits owed for a bounty. And I really don't wanna experience that again.
Do I need to change my head RP for the time being. Or was this just a random occurrence.
