Just lost 60 silver trying to bring it down a mountain – A Short Story

I cant believe how stupid I have just been.

I've got a base at the bottom of a huge mountain that I cant ship ore to my main base.
I load up 78 Silver, and then slowly move it down the mountain, stopping every 2 minutes, to regain my stamina. I'm faced with giant rock dudes, flying fucks, and wolves. But its all cool I take them all on, no problem.

I have the port base in site, I can see the finish line.
And then my freeze potion wears off.
And I run out of stamina.

I throw the silver forward, thinking it will land in front of me.
And it just fly's off the cliff face, down the hill, towards the sea.

NOOO!!!

I then die of cold.
I have to use a previous complete save to get my stuff back after trying for a long long time. (lots of death).

I get my stuff back, and I'm back as the original save character.
I then search search search for the silver that I STUPIDLY threw off the cliff, but all I could fine was 18.

Its enough for a cloak, so its not the end of the world.
But yeah, 60 lost.
Major bummer.
