Everyone seems to hate this armor, I find it a cheap lvl 5 that actually works. I was just on shoreline and tool 3 M62 rounds center mass, armor had like 18 durability left, I out flanked buddy and found him prone in a bush heard him ads and shot his penis helmet off lol. Buddy had a meta SA58 he took from someone I went back to where I first seen him on the pmc he killed and found his shotty took that too lmao. But he was wearing a slick. My headshot with .366 AP ammo beat his higher peircing and dmg dealing rounds to this " crappy " level 5 armor. I dunno maybe it's partially bugged and takes different rounds harsher and not as harsh, I'll admit I've been thoraxed a few times from some weird angles or just not seeing someone and it happened quick but the 3 or 4 times I can recall taking hits from something like m61/62 I've survived, armor might be trashed but that's kind of what happens when armor gets shot lol.
