So, I've played a few raids now after the 0.12.4 patch launched, and I can't seem quite enjoy this weight system.
Disclaimer: Know that I'm a huge fan of the game, and love basically everything about it, and spend way too much time playing it.
Realism put aside (unfortunately), I feel that this weight system kinda breaks the initial goal of the game; loot.
Without carrying much to begin with, I picked up a secondary weapon, and put one extra weapon in the backpack, and became over encumbered at 46kg. This lead me to limping like an injured (and really loud) frog the rest of the raid, leaving me extra exposed and a vulnerable target.
I know that this probably will get better once the strength gets leveled back up (and no, I'm not here to rage about strength skill being reset). But, if this is annoying to me, I can just imagine how annoying it is to a hatchling who just bought the game, getting in this first raid where he actually finds some proper loot, trying to limp to the closest extract, while still figuring out where it is.
Honestly, I simply don't know what I think about it, and I don't know the future plans, or how the system really works. I just want other people's opinion on the topic.
Happy raiding!
