I'm sure this will just get downvoted because I always get downvoted when I complain about the game but whatever…
Anyways I'm sure most of you have been having fun with the flea market being locked behind level 20, and it looks like Pestily recently released a video confirming that the Kappa container is in fact, locked behind level 71. You can find this
Kappa has been my goal the past couple wipes and I've achieved it twice after maybe a month or two of gameplay where I'm actively trying to achieve it. Both times I've gotten it I got it around level 45-50 if I remember correctly.
This change just feels like BSG doesn't value my time.
The level 20 flea market change is painful, probably even moreso for standard accounts who don't have the stash space to store future quest/hideout items as they try to move forward in the game. Some people like it, I'm not a huge fan, but I can deal with that.
The level 71 Kappa container makes me simply not want to play this wipe since my goal is essentially unachievable.
First, in the wipes where I obtained the Kappa container I usually didn't get much above level 50, having completed all quests short of X amount of X boss kills. I have nothing left to do for ~20 levels aside from farming labs for XP or trying to engage in high volumes of PvP in places like Shoreline resort or Factory.
Second, for those that actually achieve this feat, what's the point? At level 71 what do you need the extra slots for? By that point you've probably completed every task, accumulated hundreds of millions of roubles, and most of the community has probably had their fun this wipe and moved on to other games until BSG releases more content or wipes again.
So why bother?
If there were more tasks, maybe repeatable tasks, anything that gives players a goal so that they have something to strive for over than "level up 20 more times" would be a great way to incentivize players to continue to play the game rather than force them to grind by simply moving something further out of reach.
I don't know…like I said I'm sure many of you will disagree with this sentiment, but it's hard to justify this level of commitment to something that seems like it'll be pointless by the time you get it.
Just my 2 cents.
