Hey guys
Just wanted to ask you guys what you guys think about how the matches play out right now, there's a lot of discussion about the FiR changes going on especially about the change what happens to the loot if you die and so on and so forth but to me, the games whole pace kinda changed completely.
Before the wipe, I picture the players on the map as flowing. They go from location to location, loot a lot inbetween and pvp, scav players will spawn in and go for either pvp or scavenge for example dorms loot… You get it.
To me, it all made perfect sense and i could predict the lobby and the movement of the players by playing a lot.
Now:
The game is like this
Players spawn around the map
They have different quests all with find that shit in raid, find that in raid – and holy shit they do. Or they find a valuable item like a reserve bunker key and put it in their gamma.
What happens next
They look for a place to camp and wait
They either wait for scavs or players
And they play it veeery slowly
Now, if one player does that. Okay, fine
But not only one player does that, it's literally the whole lobby.
Then scavs spawn in
You spawn with a gas analyzer, other fir item /valuable item
What do you do?
Oh I'm on the quest
Slowly go to the exit and leave
Like the gameplay before the wipe was way more different
Before the wipe you had some aggressive players, some passive players and so on
Now with the new system I kinda feel forced to exit a raid or play a certain way when I have it, when before I couldve played the way I wanted, and with that I don't mean "gamma that shit"
I even mean just run through and exit, if I run across the whole map without getting shot, from one exit to the other, why shouldn't I be granted the item. I'm running through all the possible spawns.
To me, the game just got a lot more bland when before you just had more variety in enemies you meet, nowadays it just seems to be a lot slower and campier.
I think a lot of you guys will just say that this is realistic, but to me this is a game and I kinda feel that the current system is a weird bandaid fix.
