my opinion on metal teleporting

Although I would much prefer to be able to take all my items through a portal I personally don't have a problem with having items in the game that you can't teleport with my only issue with not teleporting with metal ore/bars are the following

1.) there isn't any lore reason for it that I found so far

2.) it makes no sense that I can't teleport with the ore/bar but I can teleport with the items I make from it (so I can teleport with my copper dagger but not the copper bars I need make it with)

3.) there large amount so these items you need at times makes the grind of finding them, mining them, then transporting them back my cart/boat before you can even use them not worth for people who don't want to set up a new base on every island.

Iron Gate if you do nothing else about teleporting metal/ore at least give us some sort of lore reason for it like some of the impurity in the ore disrupts the portal magic or something
