New to the forum, so here’s my story so far

A few months ago I accepted the Pilot's Federation special offer and sold my soul for a free spaceship. The flight trainer was very happy with my skills, and despite i crashed my little starter Sidey literally into the first pylon of the training course he gave me my license. Seems like the expectations for space pilots are not very high nowadays.
After doing some easy courier missions in the starter bubble around Dromi they gave me a mission to 'explore the universe'. I took off to visit some federal shithole i don't even remember anymore and right after the landing a friendly smiling businessman of the Pilot's Federation contacted me just to tell me to go f*** myself! Seriously, after working for them for 2 hours straight they simply took away my permits! Where is the damned union when you need it!

After the Pilot's Federation kicked me out i decided to get drunk or go exploring. I chose to get all-in and did both, bought a shitty fuel scoop and some liquor for way too much money and made my dizzy way to Trappist-1, where i made some big money by simply pressing a button. After that, life was much easier. I used my first mil to buy a Hauler and equipped it for long range exploration. Totally the right ship for that kind of work, as long as you hate people and enjoy living in a can with FSD. I made my way to Ceos/Sothis and did some easy courier missions for impatient and unfriendly federation bubbleheads, before equipping a Type-6 shitbucket for passenger missions from Robigo. I simply love using ships for their initial cause.

No idea if my guests had much fun staring on the bare bulkheads of this windowless brick, but they paid me anyway. Maybe they were just lucky to be alive, because my low cost FSD and my not so fuel tank barely kept us moving until we arrived at Sirius Atmospherics. Oh, the irony to almost suffocate on a stranded ship while trying to visit not only one but two completely terraformed worlds. Seriously, beg as long as you want, but i am a real man looking for a route with some chest hair! I won't call the Fuel Rats just because of an idiotic miscalculation! That's why we have a self destruct button!

My charming manner made me a lot of friends and money around Ceos, but after a while i got bored and took off to explore the Pleiades Nebula. There, i bought a shitload of Meta Alloys and returned to the bubble to deliver it to that lighthouse keeper called Farseer. After that i equipped my beloved Hauler for grinding all sorts of materials. Ignoring those desperate distress calls out there was sometimes really hard, but what could i do? All that precious Core Dynamics stuff wasn't mine as long as the pilot was still alive. They really should change those stupid salvage laws.

Some days later i arrived in Sol and spent all my money on an ASP. With the help of Farseer i engineered the shit out of it and did some trials in and around Sol, including a planetary landing on that burning piece of Lava called Skardee 1. After cooling down a bit i flew off to the Coalsack Nebula to explore the night side of one of the darkest planets out there. Luckily my SRV's headlights weren't ripped off when i accidentally did some wrong calculations and tried to jump over a roughly 500m deep abyss. Whoever builds these things, put an airbag in it, goddamit!

After returning to the bubble i equipped my starter Sidey for low cost courier missions. Money was no issue anymore and i needed less action in my life, so i flew back to my old home station in Eravate just to show those federation upper class capitalist pigs in their shiny corvettes how a real gentleman flies around.
That was about two days ago. Right now i'm thinking about equipping a Cobra III for Rescue missions. Those distress calls from a few months ago made me so sad. Maybe i can salvage some dead bodies to make their families finally happy. Charma is important!

o7 commanders, see you out there
