Plains overhaul

fictional character

Hey everyone!

TlL;DR: The Plains biome is too plain compare to all others and feels incomplete, i think it needs a serius overhaul.

Disclaimer: i havent played the new Hildir request update, waiting for Ashlands to play them together so no spoilers please!
And maybe the update adress my complain so everything i worte is for nothing 🙂

So first of all i was lurking on this sub for the past few weeks and i really enjoying seeing and reading all the discussions and appreciation posts. And i had a queations / ideas for long time and i thought to share it with you.

I completed (well killed all the existing bosses) valheim both in single player and co-op.
When it just came, before hearth and home update i got to the plains made full padded armor but quit before reaching for Yagluth.

Each time i get to the plains biome i get a little underwhelm. I really love all the other biomes, and i think each one of them is uniqe and intresting in its own way but something in the plains just feels off, incomplete.
It has alot of potential, raiding the fulling villeges is no easy task and its fun, Yagluth is cool and the fight is hard and fun, but everything else again, feels underwhelming.

The black metal is just dropped off the fullings, the armor set is out of iron, there is no special secondery set of armor, even the "key" to unlock the plains tier items is just a new workbench, the Artisan table.. all other boss drops made unlocking the new biome much exciting and natural in my opinion. Even just finding yagluth vegvisir is a pain for no reason, its so rare and there isnt alot to explore really in the plains so its just makes the search long and tiring. Whenever i reach the plains stage the flow of the game almost stops and its hard to push through it.

I just wanted to share and hear your opinions, is it just me? Maybe there is a plan to change/add to the plains already?

Thanks for reading!
