Raw Materials Grind at Outotz LS-K D8-3 B5A

Hi everyone,

I'm just getting back into Elite with the Thargoid war, and I decided to travel out to Outotz LS-K D8-3 B5A for some Yttrium (I was going to hit a few of the planets out here up for it.)

Its been a long time, but after doing the DSS, it tells me that it found geological sites on the top right, but they are not showing up in the planet via in the Galaxy map or under my contacts in the left panel.

I realized after logging out that I might need to do FSS (this I believe is new since I last went to the geological sites) but I wanted to check to see that this is still the process as I also heard people mention that you need to use a heatmap and that a heatmap is no longer used which made me wonder if this is all different now.

Manuf materials and Encoded data never seems to be an issue as enough missions tend to just give those as rewards as you do different things in the bubble, its only the raw materials that seem to be a bit of a grind to me.

One last things, The planets are super pixelated for me until I drop from Orbital cruise and get close enough to the planet. I do not remember it being this way, has anyone noticed this or do I just have a setting wrong somewhere.

Note: This is Horizons atm as I was playing with friends that do not have Odyssey, but I'll likely be in Odyssey only after the Steam Spring sale goes live and Odyssey goes on sale unless there is a need to stay in Horizons for the raw material grind.
