It's a drought for the SEA region since the last 4th placement or higher by the region is last Ti6, which is 6 years ago. SEA delivers alot of exciting and memorable games like the Mineski vs secret series at ti9, the T1 vs LGD at ti10 (10 man buyback), the ti3 Kyxy aegis deny, QO killing empire with his TA, and many more. But we can't deny that their placements recently is not that good.
