Some days I am just dumb

Have not played ED for probably 3 years. I had some time off took a 4 day weekend so dusted off my T6 and went to work intent on finally getting my Python. 4 long days later I had the credits so hopped on over and did the deal. A few more hours and a few upgrades later I was googling around some ED stuff on my lunch and realized this whole grind to the Python was in legacy.

I didn't even know about the split 🙁 the launcher defaulted to legacy I just hit play and away I went.

So the question is do I just keep chugging in legacy or switch to live and redo all that grind (was just finding trade loops and running them over and over and over).

I was thinking of going to live and try mining but since I started I had basically been a trader. In most games I play a crafter or trader type. After spending many hours in my t6 to get the Python I don't know if I can do it all over again. I really wish there was a on demand copy to live ability post split. my fault for not paying attention but still stings a bit.

Starting with around 6 mil credits and a T6 it took me probably 35 hours to trade up to the Python. Is low/mid tier mining better credits/hour than t6 hauling pulling in 2-3 million/hour? was thinking just fitting the T6 or doing a bit of trading then going ASP explorer as a mining ship, thoughts?
