Hi everybody from EliteDangerous reddit community!
I'll try to better explain my question.
When I start planning my exploration expeditions, I commonly love to use tools like edastro and edsm to create routes.. unfortunately neither of them can show me the position along the galactic plane.
Some weeks ago I found myself in a trouble, 'cause I didn't realize I went too close to the bottom of galactic plane where the density of stars is very sparse (and did not pay attention to Y coord of that system …)… At last, I managed to save myself thanks to meticulous recalcutions on galaxy map and use of fsd injection to get up back on galatic plane. But in future I would like to prevent dealing with such conditions 😀
So I ask … do you know an easy tool (as web service/interface, standalone program, etc..) that is capable to plot graphically a given route, even on a side view along the galatic plane, and not only in 2d view from above?
Thanks in advance for any reply.
