Stress anxiety.

I've been playing this game for 2 years now, off and on. I've played alone and with friends. One problem I've noticed I've been having, that I feel is making the game harder for me, is dealing with stress anxiety anytime I get into a gun fight.

It gets to the point that ill panic and can't plan out my movements strategically, ill just start spraying at the enemy and often times get one tapped because of it.

Sometimes I find myself booting my game up, getting my PMC ready for a raid and then saying "fuck this" and logging off.

I'd almost compare this feeling to the same feeling you get in real life when getting in a fist fight or some kind of verbal confrontation. Heart races, adrenaline starts pumping, etc. Never thought in a million years, a video game could bring on feelings even close to these. I guess thats why so many people keep coming back.

I suffer from severe anxiety and panic disorders irl so I was wondering if anyone else had this same problem and if there are any ways to combat this, other than popping some xanax or getting mad drunk. Lol.

I want to get better at this game and I think this is the main obstacle in my path. Obviously everyone who plays this game will have these same feelings at some point. But I also think at this point with the amount of time I've put into the game, I should be better at handing it.
