Surface CZs – threat level in system map is Intensity? And taking your own ship is OK?

I can't find a recent post on this, is there not a way to find low vs high intensity CZs using just the system map? I went to a system in war, flew 20klys to a secondary star that had the yellow CZ icons for several planets, but then in the system map, I can't tell which are low/med/high CZs. I'd like to stick with Low to get my 10 for the engineer intro. My dumb ass did like 20 of the same 2 or 3, not realizing it's 10 different CZs, not 10 total. Sigh.

Also, if I fly down to one instead of using the frontline solutions shuttle, do I park right nearby? Or dock on the pad? I don't want my ship destroyed, but it might be nice to skip the shuttle BS. It's boring and takes time if you're not right next to the CZ.

Also, if I do take my own ship, when the battle is done, to play again do I just jump away then back? I.e. low wake into orbit then come back down?
