I was just vibing doing the canny V-Buck mission alert. We get a warning about nature husks, and I see my teammates have started building out of metal.
I head over and replace it with brick walls and explain in text chat how elements work, and get called a bot. Immediately got boxed in, trapped and BASE'd for the entire mission, eventually got kicked for AFK.
The guy who boxed me was trying to flex his MSK weapons (PL80 according to the menu) to prove he was good at the game, while also berating me in chat for trying to help him understand how the game works. His friend (assuming because they both had a clan name at the start of their username) started screaming down the VC about how it doesn't matter because it's a Canny Valley mission.
I can understand not caring about what elements you use in a mid-level mission in Canny, but if somebody wants to build a good base there's no reason not to, right?
