The Life of a Non-Quester

Hello, I’m CustomsOTP in game and I don’t quest.

This wipe has been one of the hardest that I’ve done since I started playing when the game released the beta. I just want to go over some complaints and possible fixes.

Past wipes getting to 15 was the hardest part so you couldn’t buy the ammo you need to keep up with the rest of the players running high tier ammo. And also have to use a pistol and focus on looting and scav hunting to get there. Running scavs getting out just to run the gear on main PMC. These were just a few of the things I normally have to deal with.

This wipe I have no way to get any high end loot off market to keep up which is already starting to look like a problem and we are not even that far into wipe. Barters are not available from traders so I can’t go that route either. Puts me at a hard cap at all times this wipe unlike any others.

Best thing I can do to circumvent that is to barter with friends that quest. Which I don’t think they mind much but is still a burden on them. Or get lucky and win the fight against pmcs running it later on.

I feel the game more than ever has become quest orientated. Because kappa is looked at as the end game. You can’t just play the game anymore and see how far you get, you must play by traders rules to even survive.

Though I know I’m a small minority and some people say what the f%#k is your problem when they hear that in discord servers. But when you force a game in a direction this hard there is no room for the other direction. A lot of these things that changed over the past while was due to RMT which is still a thing. But that’s a whole other discussion.
