The spear’s attack either needs to be changed or its hitbox need serious adjusting because it is HOT garbage.

I'm really wanting to go with spears on this new character because I like the idea of a tower shield/spear build but here's the situation I was just in:

Sailed to get to a Bonemass shrine and when I got there I found there was also one of those upwards stone areas with two body piles and one bone pile right nearby so obviously I had to get rid of them before I summoned Bonemass. There were 6 drauger and 4 skeletons in this spot and I COULD NOT hit the piles to stop them spawning with the regular attack. The only attack that could hit the piles was the throwing attack and that was NOT working out for me.

I actually had to run away, fight off the drauger and skeletons, drop a portal, and grab a different weapon just to be able to get rid of these body and bone piles. After I spent all that iron and time upgrading my ancient spear the game showed me almost immedietley that I wasted my damn time and iron on this weapon.

We all know that Valheim's hitboxes have got an issue with enemies and objects being on gentle declines/inclines but that was not the case here. These piles are on level ground and due to the spear's awful overhead stab attack, probably the least efficient way to attack something with a spear, my attacks just would not connect at all. Not to mention the spear's attack also makes attacking leaches almost impossible as I've just found out as well.
