Hello friends!
With the latest patch, we got animal taming systems, I won't talk about bugs because it will be fixed over time, I want to talk about other things.
What I don't like now is how I propose to change this and my variations.
Tamed animals are extremely difficult to distinguish from wild ones.
After the player has tamed the animal, it does not change externally in any way, teammates begin to chase it, shoot, waste time and get confused during the final phase of protection. I'm sure it needs to be fixed.
In many civilized countries, a collar for an animal is not just a beautiful attribute, but also a necessary condition for its maintenance. I suggest making one kind of collar for all kinds of animals that will be visible to the team, but make it different for each player… what I mean.
In the flag color change tab there is a background fill item, I suggest automatically changing the collar background to the background color of the player's flag when taming an animal. So it will be seen that the animal is tamed and by which player.
Tamed animals have only one priority – to kill.
It's strange to me, but there are no other commands like follow, patrol the territory or guard the place… why? Now the tamed animal runs and agrays on everything around, tries to run into houses to attack zombies, runs after chickens away from the player, makes some strange jerks and has constant aggression. I think the introduction of commands greatly diversifies the gameplay.
Tamed animals are too weak.
Yes, a tamed animal should not become a "killing machine", but now, having no normal priorities in attack and behavior during the final defense, they run into a crowd of zombies on their respawn and live exactly 3-5 seconds!
I suggest making three levels (of evolution) for animals. They can raise their level either by killing zombies or by eating animal meat.
For example:
– the first level is 100% HP and 100% damage,
-the second level is 150% HP and 125% damage,
– the last level is 200% HP and 150% damage.
*in addition, it would be great if they changed a little externally, for example, their height or color increased.
Thanks to everyone who read to the end, you are really cool guys!
