I just had a dream where I followed a toll on my personal company ID card to an abandoned settlement. The entry door was weirdly locked to me, having a researcher class 3 access naturally. I tricked it by causing a confusion in the ID card system with a Guest access card you can get, via a technical support system nearby. It let me into the first door of the security airlock where the support call and reporting device was installed. There i could register my own ID and access a sort of support ticket system account. Trying to look for my tolls on my account and whats going on, I stumble upon a private ticket entry with an audio error report log in it. The name was "[unknown error]" and I played the log.
The male voice was distressed but confident in its words. Talking about his project and that its been going well. "The Nine are going to get finished in time", being proud of the work he and his team did, but its gonna have "to end without him". Something about the motives of their usage and him changing his mind about being fine with it. He can no longer ignore his own morale qualms and he is not agreeing, but he can not exit alive, after all.
While this log is playing, I am fumbling for my phone to make a recording that is not traceable. I sense the dread and suddenly feel in danger of getting caught in a place I shouldn't be. I have a real bad feeling about this being some secret I shouldn't know, but I have to get word to my peers at Canonn. People must know there is something afoot.
