Just wanted to congratulate the devs on this new special mode, very well thought out for several reasons: (i) allows everyone to use new cards in the way devs thought them out and quickly understand new combos and interactions (ii) for newer players who won’t be able to craft all new cards day 1 of the patch, allows them to play with new cards still (iii) statistics on such games should allow the devs to have a feel on how balanced are the new archetypes faster than waiting for a first meta to settle.
Speaking of balance, in my opinion MO and SK feel decent, SY and ST feel strong, and NR feels very strong (maybe too much ?). The NG deck feels like absolute garbage compared to the other. The new cultist archetype is very underwhelming, completely sucks if you miss scenario, and even with scenario feels much weaker than other faction scenarios as you need more setup for the NG scenario to be effective… or maybe I am missing something?
