Other than the initial wobblies that we have all grown to expect… and the couple of quick hotfixes, frame rates (for my kit, see below) are more stable. Surface textures and shadows and mining locations look better than ever.
Finally got back to Colonia to test out the new tougher galcop defend missions, they are genuinely challenging solo, and fun (especially when combined with a bit better framerates), the other defend missions are more fun now too due to the improvements to framerates. I always want more framerates though. Keep them coming. And keep new mission types coming too. I'd like to see some non-pewpew exploration biological/geological type missions
Settlement missions are in a good place too.
On foot CZs framerates are still a bit too choppy for my liking.
[I am not dismissing any individual problems others have been having though – I still don't understand why some people's better rigs are getting worse.]
FYI system specs for perspective – a decent recent rig, not top of any range, but good:
- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz on mid range X570 mobo
- RAM 32.0 GB @ 3200
- AMD Radeon RX 6800 with 16GB VRAM
- Display: Freesync 2560 x 1080 @ 75hz
