I've put a little over 500 hours into Valheim and am absolutely obsessed with it. Mistlands has been a great grind so far, I feel like it's given a lot of content to hold us over until the next biome. However, I'd like to see another update similar to Hearth and Home. Here's some of my ideas:
A "NEW" icon for items you haven't crafted yet. Completely missed the mortar and pestle and couldn't figure out why I couldn't craft certain foods. Just having the list that pops up when you discover a new material doesn't help people with a short attention span like me lol.
Wisplight upgrades. I know this is a hot topic in the community. I personally think the radius is a little too small, but shouldn't be increased too much. Having levels to the wisplight might mitigate this. I'd also like to see it get rid of fog in other biomes too.
Cart overhaul. Especially in biomes like Mountains and Mistlands where the terrain is much less forgiving. It would be cool to be able to attach a cart to a team of wolves that can follow you, and possibly pathfind to flatter terrain. Or maybe a new cart for lox.
Separate armor slots. Again, another hot topic. I wouldn't even mind if the amount of weight stays the same, but having 4 slots taken up by armor and then another by Megingjord or Wisplight makes a huge difference.
I know some if not all of these can be accomplished by mods, but personally I'd prefer to play vanilla until the game is finished. What do you guys think?
