Please do not send any hate towards WhatCulture Gaming in any way, shape or form. I just want to have an open discussion on why I very much disagree with their narrative.
To paraphrase what they said in the video:
Escape From Tarkov is a gruling, hardcore tactical FPS with emphasis on hardcore, and no clear objective. You have to learn and rely on overly-complex weapon mechanics, hours of grinding and learning the maps, again with no clear objective. The hate came so far that BSG was taking as many negative reviews off of YouTube as possible. When asked when women weren't in the game, Nikita said "That women can't handle that level of stress." The female host of the episode then claimed that she should stay far away from Tarkov if women "can't handle it." One Redditor comments: "If you want a game that punches you in the dick, Escape From Tarkov is it. It's basically just pure frustration." At the end of her rant, she says: "Luckily for me, it's still apparently a load of shit, anyway."
I have a lot of things I'd like to say about this, but would love to know what the community thinks. Please keep it civil!
