I have seen how much money people pay to be able to be a feline with insane speed, per day. And that's a lot more than what it is worth to pay for the premium battle pass for season 1.
now Imagine, what if Apex Legends were the actual provider of this.
There could be options like:
- Aim assist
- Extra senses
- Auto Loot (with favorite gun choices)
- Anti-sense (my favorite, being invisible to others on this list)
- Speed boost
Now, for all of us that enjoy the free game, it is gonna be a challenging and frustrating game because people that DO pay will have better abilities, restricted time based abilities.
But, for all of us, we are gonna get a better game, more balanced game, that could even split the queue between normies (free players), enhanced players (with normies, if they chose to get a challenge), and so on.
I do think this is a really hard thing to balance, but given the fact that wild cheetahs keep popping up and spending hard earned money to play a FREE game it kinda makes sense, doesn't it?
