I am tired of people labeling wot as a p2w game(please read the whole post before downvoting)

Let me explain. Wot is not a "pay to win" game but rather a "pay to progress" game. A lot of people are complaining about stuff being available for money however it either was or will be available for free at some point. All of the op prems were part of marathons which if you completed you were given the tank for free. The new 780 tank, you can buy it for credits bond or free xp which you can save up by playing. You can get bonds from events.

And gold ammo, dont even get me started on that. Is it unbalanced that a 320 alpha medium can pen my e 100 cheeks straight on? Yes, it is however it is part of the game and it is not p2w. You can fire HEAT without spending a single real life cent. If you play this game well you are able to grind up credits to use prem consumables and fire gold ammo. But the people complaining are 1k wn8 or less players that struggle to have 2k dpg in their tier 8s and such cant fire gold ammo and use food since they dont earn nearly as much credits for it, and then they go in their isu 152k fire 2 shots, make credits and blame it on being p2w. No steve the is7 driver, you made credits because 750 alpha is higher than 240 alpha on ur panther 2 and its easier to get to 1.4k dmg in a isu152 than a panther.

Now i am not defending wargaming, I really hate them and their ways of monetizing their game since it is very hard to start off as a new player, I totally agree with that. But thats not because wot is p2w, but because until little Billy figures out how to deal dmg properly so he doesnt earn 10k credits a game he gives up and buys a t8 premium to make credits. Thats wargaming's business model, making you give up halfway there and just opening you wallet.I totally agree with anyone saying THAT is very shitty and unfair. Thats how a very heavily pay to progress game works.

You can still shine as a f2p, you just have to be good and know what you are doing instead of shooting twice in an rhm and calling it a day.Get good, deal more than 2k dmg in ur is3 and you will start earning credits. Not as fast as a p2w person of course but you can still play and enjoy the game as a f2p.

Clan wars rewards are given to anyone not just p2w. Campaigns rewads are also given to anyone good enough. I am very pay to win and im not nearly close to the obj 279e. Why is that? i spent more than 1k euros in the game am I not paying to WIN? No, I am not. I'm paying to get premiums earlier in marathons instead of farming them, im paying so i can grind credits easier instead of taking more time. Just because i spent money doesnt mean i automatically win every battle i join. I still get fucked by rng, shitty maps and lowrolls as much as the next person. Please complain corectly or dont open your mouth. Also please remove artilery it is unfair and broken.
