OK, so I won my flank. How do I proceed?

I started to play heavies and mediums with armor (I mostly play lights and light mediums with no armor).

This is a basic question, yet I realized I am unsure how to proceed as a top tier heavy/medium when I win the flank, and I am faced with a killing field in front of me with hidden TDs.

Obviously I do not push into them. Yet I can't just stay behind cover hoping something will show up… as top tier I have a responsibility I do not have as a light. As I light I have to spot; or if I can't I can relocate where I can. As a heavy or a heavy medium I do not have the speed to go over to another flank, but I can't just wait, but neither can I push.

So what do people do in their slow tanks?
