I was having fps issues and stuttering, about 40-50 fps and 1-2 sec stutters (especially when ADS-ing) on factory and a meh preformance overall. I have a GTX 970 which isn't the best so I thought that was the reason. Then I found this post from 2 years ago () and tried it with zero expectations since it was probably outdated.
My fps pretty much doubled and it dramatically reduced stuttering. I use relatively high DPI so maybe that was the reason, I'm not sure. Now I don't know if this will work for anyone else but it's worth a try, because for me the difference was night and day so huge credits to that guy!
Because it is an older post and there is a bunch of new people to the game (including me) I thought I would post it again so everyone could see it.
