The biggest piece of advice I can give is that you HAVE to keep changing position, at range if possible.
Fighting teams is much harder at close range now, can't pick teams apart as easily because of inertia.
NEVER rush to loot against teams. #1 rule of tarkov, there is ALWAYS 1 more player.
If you know for sure there is 1 more player and you can't find them, be prepared to walk away from the loot if you want the survive. Some people have insane patience when it comes to watching their friends gear, especially if you have killed more than 1.

And last of all pucker your butthole when looting. Nobody is covering you. You will die to the sneaky extra man every now and then, sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. Just shake it off and be proud you had a go. Hope this was helpful.
