The Blast Furnace is used exclusively for smelting Black Metal ore (and Flametal ore, but it has no usage yet) while all other ores are smelted with the default Smelter. It's a shame that the Blast Furnace is much easier to insert both fuel and ores but has only one usage. Whatever new resources we get from the Mistlands will probably be compatible with the Blast Furnace and future biome resources probably will too, but honestly why can't it be a direct upgrade from the Smelter?
Suggestion:
- Resources available for the Smelter can be smelted in the Blast Furnace.
- Older resources also smelt 2x as fast in the Blast Furnace (30 secs > 15 secs).
