First of I am in not an expert. I fumbled with my settings for months and months since I got my new rig. The performance never reached what I was expecting until now. I am running a RTX4090 with a I9 13900K, 32 GB 6000 MHz DDR5 RAM.
This is what worked for me:
– Update Bios (my pc got sent prebuilt with a Beta Bios Version that was outdated by 3 new Versions, the new Versions included better DDR5 and Intel support)
– Activate XMP Profile in Bios (unless you do that you wont get the speed you bought ur RAM at)
– Deactivate E-Cores (may be called deactivating Hyperthreading)
– Activated High Bandwith and Low Latency (that is a Gigabyte exclusive option as far as I know, the impact of this option is questionable ig, apparentely they tested it and there was a slight positive impact so I activated it)
For some people this may seem obvious, for me it wasnt.
I met one Streets Chad that is running a i9 12900k with a RTX 3080. Before we talked he was barely getting 60 fps on streets. After he changed the exact same settings he was running streets with about 80 to 90 fps with no dips below 70.
My performance differences:
Streets : 70-90 after settings going up to 100-130 fps
Shoreline: 90-110 after settings going up to 160-200 fps
Didnt have the time to test other maps since Im on a Weekly on Shoreline and running streets for my mates weekly.
Maybe a post like this allready existed, all i know is that I used a lot of my time and a lot of different settings to get my fps higher. I actually came across these settings searching for ways to boost my CPU since I was bottlenecked by it. It worked very well for me. If any of u give it a try I would be happy to read some updates in the comments. Hope it helps.
