Hey cmdrs, I just bought ED:O and after booting it up, got greeted to an eye-melting sight with blurry text everywhere(looked like real life for me XD).
Here is how I fixed the blurry text issue, may this be of help to anyone experiencing something similar.
There were 2 main things making the game blurry for me.
1: super-sampling
2: strange issue with playing borderless window
For the super sampling, either set it to normal 1x or fidelity fx cas 1x. If you set super-sampling to lower than 1x, it will render a lower resolution and upscale(super-sample, basically), which can lead to blurry text.
However, after doing that, I was still getting incredibly blurred text. After playing around with some of the settings, I found that I fixed the issue when I switched my display over to fullscreen mode. I did that, applied the change, saw that I no longer had blurry text, then switched back to borderless, applied the change, and for some reason perhaps known only to the god of spaghetti code, that fixed the problem and I could finally read the text clearly in the game in borderless window mode.
Note: the later fix probably doesn't do anything if you weren't running your game in borderless window mode to began with.
