James Tyler, Commodity Specialist aboard the YKE Drimo [V4W-L9N], has released a statement on behalf of YKE Technologies, regarding the recent blockade established against the Kumo Council in the California Nebula:
"The first day was an overwhelming success! Many CMDRs from both Alliance & Independent backgrounds arrived to provide assistance to Turner Research Group, who has now won the first day in elections. Despite the aggressive takeover pulled by Archon Delaine & the Kumo Council, it appears that we still have the chance to prevent whatever the feudal bandits are attempting to achieve."
"On day one, we were unable to acquire election routes, as the mission board was not providing any options. We suspected that Kumo Council has silent support from outside of the galaxy… but in hindsight it appears that various mission boards are providing non-related election missions, from Turner Research Group. Once completed, these missions appear to support the election, despite being unrelated."
"In regards to inter-species de-escalation, it seems that
"We ask all pilots traveling through the region to avoid Thargoid conflict zones, and any AX activity which may de-stabilize the efforts in question. Kumo Council is responsible for the escalation in the region, and we are confident that once power is returned to Turner Research Group, the attacks will subside."
"With passive permission from the Thargoids, Turner Research Group was able to successfully grow and study their own Barnacle in a facility at Mic Turner Base, located in California Sector BA-A e6. This is a shining example of just how inter-species relations could improve xeno research. Unlike many of the attacked settlements in the Pleiades, Turner Research Facility has been left… untouched."
